Hi! I’m Maryna and I’m a Bachelor Student in Kyiv.
I am a philology senior undergraduate student, that’s why I love learning new languages and then traveling to countries where I can practice with native speakers. I also used to work as an English teacher, so I can talk about teaching, methodology and learning languages forever, believe me! One day I want to speak Spanish fluently and travel to Peru and Argentina because I desperately want to see the places that these countries are famous for.
In my opinion, traveling provides you with perfect opportunity to explore new cultures and gain unforgettable experience, especially now, when it’s becoming more and more affordable and comfortable for young people. I love staying in different countries for long time, so I can immerse myself in the culture and learn about different stuff first hand.
According to my friends and family, I’m a hyper active person and I completely agree with this statement. I love sightseeing and walking all day long in new places and if I had to choose between watching movies and hiking on my day off, I’d definitely prefer hiking.

Music is definitely an integral part of my life, adore it when I gather with my friends to sing some Ukrainian songs. So my favorite songs are Chervona Ryta and Happy End.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I’m from the town that is famous for producing beer. However, I never liked drinking it and used to avoid buying this beverage at supermarkets. But in 2023 I visited one of the most famous Berlin pubs and fell in love with beer instantly.

I study English philology and translation, plus German and Spanish languages at my university. My major helps me to travel around the world and have conversations with local without boundaries. I also love volunteering and have already participated in a lot of projects in animal shelters, schools and online charity organizations.
