ABOUT ME

As long as I can remember I went travelling to other countries. First within Europe, later also abroad together with friends or on my own. I am a very adventurous and curious person and other countries, their culture and languages have always interested me.
Couchsurfing is something new to me and I think, it's a great opportunity not only to visit another country, but also to get to see the different places through the eyes of people living there.

Although I am German, I live in the Netherlands right now, where I studied and currently do my PhD. I have a friendly and openminded character and I'm always in for new experiences. Travelling with respect for people and nature is one of my first principles.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now, I am just a surfer, but I am also planning to offer a couch for everyone, who is interested in my home in the Netherlands, which is definitely worth visiting.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I just travelled 2 weeks through Andalucia and visited couches there. I had a great time and people were very kind and friendly everywhere I came.

Intereses

travelling of course, cycling and walking, horse-riding, reading good books (and also reviewing them), doing taekwondo, gardening, cooking and making music a little (piano, guitar)
