Our mission is to explore the world and build lasting, genuine relationships with our friends, and find and connect with those that care for our beloved planet, and those that are living on it, especially including critters.

ABOUT ME

We are a happily married couple working alongside one another with our current entrepreneur project: bandfamous.com.
We are in-between releasing new music videos and our 2nd album, and preparing to go on tour.
We are open minded, and are not true to any single religion, but are very spiritual and loving.

PHILOSOPHY

"If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love."

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We will be traveling all over, & greatly look forward to the possibility of making friends along the way. We would love to stay with hospitable, kind & equally positive people-preferably patrons of music and the arts so that we share a common interest, but this is not a necessity by any means :)

We are living in NYC as of September 24th, 2014. We will do our best to accommodate guests as we can, but we cannot always host, so please do not take offense if we are unable to accommodate you.

We believe in the law of attraction and karma; you really do get what you give.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had experience couch surfing before. We are very respectable & always do our utmost to seem unnoticeable. We are very adherent to boundaries, & are very grateful & appreciative to those we've stayed with in the past. We look forward to future experiences! We are also very hospitable and if you are respectful and like-minded you will feel right at home with us!

Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me, one thing that comes to mind is I was able to save someone's life in NYC, a young girl around 22 years of age. She was very ill and weak, and she whispered for help, so I called an ambulance for her right away and told them it was urgent. I later learned had I waited ten minutes longer she may have died from brain swelling.

Zander amazes me all the time as well. He opened and ran his own gallery in downtown Minneapolis in efforts to bring the community together, and in doing so he sacrificed many amazing opportunities, one of which being the invitation to body paint Miss Universe at the NY Art Expo in Manhattan of 2009. He is a phoenix, he lost everything with the gallery, and with strength he rose out of the ashes, determined to succeed and follow his dream to the finish line. He is an inspiration to me and no doubt to many. He is always giving, and helping others, even when he has been in a compromised position himself.

One accomplishment we can feel good about is that together we developed and launched our native iOS mobile application together - "The Band Famous" is free on the iPhone App Store - and as of Nov. 2015 we can add the native Android app for TBF to that list. We are grateful to have some amazing fans, friends and supporters for our TBF band project, including Adobe After Effects and Hoverboard program co-founder/co-inventor, Greg Deocampo, also known as Special Agent G from Emergency Broadcast Network.

Teach, Learn, Share

In our experience, it comes down to attitude. Each day we wake we try to have an attitude of Gratitude. Let's face it, negativity sucks. Literally, it is draining. So we strive to be positive, even in testing and trying times.
We all know that everyone is fighting a battle, so we feel the least that we can do is to be kind, to share smiles, and bring joy and laughter, and hope to others; to better the world in any way possible.

Also, respect, honesty & assertiveness on how you feel/where you stand is essential to a harmonious environment in which to share. Communication is KEY!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We can cook for you, follow recipes.
We can be a live-in maid and clean your basement, closets, kitchen, bathroom.
We have no issues doing laundry, and know how to separate dedicates to the whites and colored clothing.
We can give very good back massages.
We would be happy to exchange minor creative services and consultations for a clean shower, a night's rest, etc.
