Hi! I'm not sure how long this should be, but I'll keep it short and sweet. I recently graduated from the University of Texas at Austin (Hook'em) with a bachelor's degree in journalism. I have chosen to travel in order to gain some life experience from new places and new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music tastes range from alternative rock to country to pop to salsa. I really do like it all. A list of favorites in no particular order are: The Four Seasons, Leo Dan, Arctic Monkeys, Adele, Oscar De Leon, Ricardo Arjona, George Strait, Glass Animals, The Strokes, Reik, The Lumineers, G-Eazy, Kat Dahlia, The Strumbellas, Josh Abbott Band, etc.

I watch too many movies to have a favorite. I give anything a try. BUT I can give some insight on my top tv shows. Here are a few of my go-to Netlflix picks: The Office, New Girl, Parks & Rec., Gilmore Girls, and of course, my recent obsession, Stranger Things.

I'm a big bookworm. I enjoy novels by Matthew Quick and Laura Dave. All-time favorites by various authors include: The Alchemist, Love May Fail, Little Women,
Graduates in Wonderland, The Marriage Plot, The Unbearable Lightness of Being, etc.

I speak Spanish and English fluently, so I can give lessons. I can cook and help out in exchange for staying with you. Also, since I grew up in Texas with a Venezuelan background, I can give an interesting cultural exchange.
