About Me

Making 30 random friends around the globe before I turn 30!

I'm a spontaneous person who enjoys every day. Well - lets be honest - the day offs more than the others! I like to chill at the beach, going out for some drinks, or just hang around with my friends!

After I finished my apprenticeship in 2012 and worked few month as a cabinetmaker I already felt tired of this job and decided to take a break, booked a oneway ticket and off i went to Philippines. Since then I'm always on the move, making new friends wherever I go and basically just enjoying life.
At the moment I'm in stunning Australia, travelling unbelievable distances in my 4WDCamper and doing casual jobs every now and then to cover my expenses.

So far this journey is just awesome and it totally changed my mindset about all sorts of things. On my way I met so many interesting people with loads of stories to tell, happy to show me their culture which were so very different to my own. Not to mention all the breathtaking places we've been to and the activities we've done. All of that made the past month(? Already more than 1.5 years now!) very special to me and was worth much more than the Pesos, Ringits and Dollars i've spent on this jurney!

Really looking forward for more adventures and chalanges to come!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Surfed couches and attended events and meetings in SEA and Australia. Haven't been that active recently for some reasons but I'll participate much more in near future for sure!

Stumbled over CS few years back when i was still in Highschool, finally signed up in 2012 and surfed the first couch in january 2013. From there on it became a important part of my travels and definetly makes them more interesting and memorable.

As example here's one thing I'll never forget:
When I travelled to El Nido, Philippines, i met a few other CSers at a random bar in the towncenter. After few beers we strolled along the beach. Suddenly the 3 colombian guys started to sing a really cool colombian song and it totally blew me away. They were no professional musicians or anything but just to watch and listen to them for 1-2 minutes, singin this song, simply made my day.
