ABOUT ME
I live in Corvallis, Oregon, and study Mechanical Engineering at Oregon State University.
I'm opened minded and up for most of new things. I always look for ways to stimulate my brain by physical and social activities. I like to care others, and I often put myself in someone's shoe when someone is not nice. I used to tailgate someone who cut me off, but that would just create more negative energy. instead, I learned to give more space.
I feel really good when I help others who are in need of help. I love helping people who are stuck in snow storm on hills.
I am generally happy and think positively. I love being happy because it makes me happier!!
PHILOSOPHY
"You are what you eat."
"What you do in your life makes who you are."
"Now is the best time to change, and nothing is going to stop you from living in your dream... "except yourself might be the only obstacle."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met very interesting people in Cambodia, and I ended up volunteering with them. the experience can not be described with words, but I saw some reality in Cambodia.
I just love to meet people from everywhere and share difference in culture. Its so amazing how people live differently. I have met many same minded people here.
Interests
I like playing sports, snowboarding, surfing, skateboarding, motorcycling, driving, drifting, bicycling, kayaking, hiking camping, fishing, shooting targets, baseball, tennis, table tennis, and pool/billiards
I also like to read books. The Alchemist, by Paulo Coelho, was the first book that had huge impact on my life.
I am also interested in mechanical parts. I am currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering, and I love to work on cars, motorcycles, and, bicycles. I also love fixing things in my house. I also love trains! When I was younger at school, I sit by windows during lectures with train schedules in my city, and I was looking up which train would pass by. I don't know why it is so fascinating. I always find myself looking for a place to look at trains. I love to find a bridge where trains pass by, and I would stay right underneath to see from bottom. haha I'm so geek.
I love to put myself in a new atmosphere. I try to travel as much as I can.
I love to volunteer. I lived in Thailand for a month to teach English and Math at a High School in a small village. I always knew deep inside, I want to help people to have a healthy life in poor countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While I was in Cambodia, I have donated my blood and helped prevent child prostitution. As a volunteer team, we went to a market and bought 100 baguettes, 40kg of dragon fruit and banana and loaded a jeep with the food and medical box. We drove the jeep to a garbage damp where children and parents live off of garbage, and we gave them the food and medical treatments.
