ABOUT ME

I run my own custom mascot costume design business, www.amazing-mascots.com . I moved to Chicago from Tampa in April of 2012 to study improv and writing and to grow my business.

I've been fortunate enough to get to travel all over the US, 40 out of 50 states. I've also been to Japan twice for work, and have also visited London, Amsterdam, Brussels, Paris, Liverpool, Dublin, and New Zealand. In Canada I have been to Montreal, Toronto, and Vancouver. I just got back from a two week trip to Australia where I got to Scuba dive the great barrier reef.

I'm a big baseball fan and I've been to all but 4 ballparks (out of 30) This year I have already visited two new ball parks, San Diego, and Dodgers Stadium. I love Ice hockey and have been to many arenas in the US.

I'll be traveling to South Dakota, Minnesota, NYC, Boston, Cincinatti, and St. Louis this summer. Hurray.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've hosted few people in when I lived in St. Paul, MN and in Tampa, FL. I've just recently decided to open my couch in Chicago.

I'm not interested in hosting "freeloaders" which, thanks to the new format, there seems to be a lot of now. I prefer to host travelers, and not people who don't want to spring for a hotel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's been fun so far. I've enjoyed meeting new people from different places and the opportunity to share what I have.
