ABOUT ME

I play guitar in a band called DON'T MOVE! (I don't mean to use CS to mindlessly promote my music, but if you're interested you can hear our music at soundcloud.com/dont-move). I'm heading out to Toronto this Autumn (2011) to mix our latest album and immerse myself in some Canadian culture. In the meantime I work in a cool independent music venue in Coventry which I'd recommend anyone to check out, should they find themselves in the area.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to keep a healthy rational perspective of what's important, i.e. concern myself with the things that truly matter and detach myself from the things that don't. Sounds obvious but it's not always easy!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't utilised couchsurfing as much as I'd have liked - well I haven't traveled as much as I'd have liked, mainly due to a demanding but not very lucrative career choice - but I've had a couple of really pleasant CS experiences. Until recently, my living circumstances made it difficult for me to host, though that has changed now and I'm more than happy to put people up.

Interests

mmmusic - especially the Byrds, Scott Walker, Bluegrass, classic Disco; art - particularly modern art, abstract expressionism is one of my passions, but I love galleries in general.
