Hey) My name is Masha, this year I am an exchange student in Alabama, Gadsden city. I have been living in America for 5 months, this country has brought so much joy and happiness to my life. My friends and I have already been to Illinois and Florida, we enjoyed these trips a lot, but it is only the beginning of our journeys, there are too many places to discover:) In Russia, I live and study in Moscow, my major is foreign languages (English and Italian).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A year ago, I won one of the most prestigious exchange programs in Russia called "YEAR". The Year of Exchange in America for Russians program is a unique opportunity for outstanding Russian students to complete a one-year non-degree study program in the United States of America. The program provides a rich academic and cultural experience helping students develop a nuanced understanding of American society and values and strengthen their academic, leadership, and English language skills.

I am very glad that I made my dream come true and finally came to America to study and explore different cultures.

What I Can Share with Hosts

A year ago, I started working as a Russian language instructor, I enjoy sharing my knowledge about the Russian language, our traditions, and customs, it will be such a pleasure for me to introduce my culture to others. Moreover, my major is foreign languages, I study Italian, I am eager to immerse my hosts with this European country too.
