ABOUT ME

Ever since I was a kid, Ive always traveled a bunch with my family.I grew up in Minsk, Belarus, and popular destinations for us were Ukraine, Bulgaria, and Germany. Now that Im an adult, every year I try to visit places where I havent been before. Im also really into learning foreign languages; I speak English, German, Russian, and Spanish (still working on that one). Im very adventurous, and I love big cities just as much as I love wild nature.

PHILOSOPHY

I love Buddhism and wisdom that comes from yoga. Being strong and fearless, yet gentle & kind. Never regretting and looking back; not being too hung up on either past or future, but living in the ''now''.
And a phrase that I like to say a lot is ''c'est la vie''

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Im new to the Couchsurfing community, but I'd love to start participating as much as I can. Very interested in meeting other members. And, once Im back home, I can definitely host!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Like Ive said,Im brand new to the Couchsurfing community but Im wide open to all the new experiences that Im about to have!! I did once meet some cute French guys who crashed on my friend's couch in San Francisco! It seemed like it worked out very well for everyone!

兴趣

First and foremost, music! I've been volunteering for a local radiostation for a couple of years, where I host a weekly radioshow (now via a podcast) and Im also a DJ. I love going to shows, festivals, and DJ nights.
I like biking, taking photos, snorkeling, cooking (and especially baking), trying new flavors, cuddling, hanging out on rofftops, karaoke, dancing, chocolate, sudoku puzzles, interesting non-generic movies, yoga, stretching, hiking... and so much more!

Music: from Abba to Zappa, and funk to punk...
Movies: pretty much anything by Wes Abderson & Guy Maddin. I also love that guy who made Amelie and Delicatessen. I like a lot of movies, but especially French New Wave, film noir, foreign, and independent.
Books: anything by Dostoyevsky and other Russian writers. Milan Kundera and Marc Spitz are also my favorite writers.

Just recently, when I was on Maui, we rented a car and drove to the top of a 10,000 ft high volcano to watch the sunset. The air was so still; it felt like we were in a different world. i was so happy to be alive and to experience this place
