I am pretty easygoing, open-minded, and very active, although sometimes I really enjoy chilling. Meeting new people and having a good conversation while sipping on a cool local beer has always been amazingly enjoyable for me. Discovering new places, trying new foods and drinks, learning about cultures, and buying small arts from different cultures are the main sources of adrenaline rush for me :)

On my nerdy side, I have a PhD in water resources management and work as a project manager in an engineering firm for clients such as NASA and the World Bank.

I am also working on my private pilot license and am very excited about it.

Music: I enjoy almost all types of music from different countries, but my favorites are hip hop, hard rock and heavy metal.
Movies: mystery, action, crime.
Books: history, non-fiction. My favorite author is Malcolm Gladwell.

If you are interested in water crisis in the world and environmental conservations, I will keep talking until you shut me down.

Aside from that, I served as a cultural mentor for 3.5 years interacting with over 1,000 students from about 65 countries to adapt after they entered the United States. Through this opportunity, I learnt a great deal about different cultures and would love to share what I learnt with others.

I also enjoy cooking. I have no recipes and always make something up depending on the ingredients that are available. Let me know if you'd like to try a new food that you cannot find anywhere else :)
