ABOUT ME

Hi !
My name is Leyla . We first moved to Turkey 10 years ago. I was offered a position of an Assistant Professor of ELT at Erciyes University in Kayseri. I got my PhD in Foreign Language Education from the US and lived there for 7 years prior to moving to Turkey.
My husband Aslan is Circassian (Cherkess) from Nalchik, Kabardino-Balkaria. He is a digital nomad and creates 360 virtual tours for google maps. We have two kids. Our son Marat is 10 and our daughter Mira is 6. They are well-behaved, fully bilingual kids that have been homeschooled all their life.
We love cooking and eating, traveling and spending great time with friends. I am often told that I am a fantastic cook.
