Overview
About Me
I'm a 27-year-old science-fiction writer from Columbus, Indiana. After graduating from Purdue, I spent half a year in New York City before moving back home with a serious back injury. I rehabilitated, wrote, and worked on a writing instruction website (still in development) for about a year. Then I drove across the States to the west coast for a road trip to 50 bookstores in 50 days. Then I lived in London with family. And now I'm based in LA :)
Here are some fun facts about me:
-I love playing sports (soccer and basketball especially)
-I'm a little OCD about my schedule ;)
-I've written ten novels
-I make rap music for fun
I also write short films and screenplays

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love the mission of Couchsurfing. It's a prime example of a company using the internet as a platform for social good, instead of a way to plaster our screens with creepily customized ads.
And, of course, I do quite a bit of traveling. Couchsurfing not only provides a cheap place to sleep. It also deepens the experience of traveling overall.
I don't yet have my own place so am unable to host, but as soon as I have a couch to offer, I look forward to giving back to the Couchsurfing community.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While writing my first novel, I was a senior in high school. I kept the book secret for several months, had it printed and bound, dedicated it to my girlfriend at the time, and gave it to her as a way to ask her to prom. I've been writing ever since.
