ABOUT ME

My name is Ali (my birth name is Mansoor but my middle and nick name is Ali) and I like meeting new friends. I like discussing history, culture, philosophy, pretty much anything that impacts how we live.

****Update. I am back for the summer in New Jersey (near NYC). I might be able to host some people, and I can defintely show people around NYC. I temporarily stay in Sanford, Florida (near Orlando)during the winter, fall and spring,and would love to meet other couchsurfers. I can't host when I am in Florida but I can meet up. I will be going back and forth between Florida and New Jersey/New York.

PHILOSOPHY

I like understanding what motivates people to do what they do and live the way they live. It is because of my connection with God thatI do my best to live in a way where I help others and feel I made a positive contribution. I try not to judge others and try to maintain an open mind while sharing what I feel is good and trying to learn from others on things that can benefit me.

兴趣

Going out to restaraunts, having group discussions, basketball, volleyball, coffee shops. I"m the kind of guy that can be doing almost anything as long as the company is right. I don't need to necessarily be doing any specific thing as long as the people I'm with are good company.

I"m a typical guy. I like action movies, comedies. Interestingly enough, I'm not too much into music, although I do like peaceful/beautiful/classical type music, such as the song "Its a wonderful world" by Louis Armstrong.

Took the Greyhound bus by myself cross country from New Jersey to Los Angeles California. Interesting adventure.
