ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Matt, but some friends here in Japan call me Masshuu. I've been living in Nagahama, Shiga-ken for almost two years, teaching English at a junior high school.

I absolutely love living in Japan. This country's sights, foods, and people are amazing. I've also been able to travel around Southeast Asia and Australia since moving here. With the time I have left in Japan, my goal is to see as much of this great country as possible.

I am not good at many things, but I like to try everything. I'm not sporty, but I play tennis and in the winter I attempt snowboarding. I'm a book nerd - I like to read about politics and history.

A perfect weekend for me is hanging out with friends at a chill bar where we can meet local people.
