ABOUT ME

A very curious person, loving to meet new poples and new cultures. Very fond of travelling, sport and outdoor activities. Really appreciate honesty and friendship. I consider myself an old chevalier, i believe in "old values" such as being clear and honest, respect people and not do onto others what you would not wish to be done to yourself . I consider myself a free spirit a middle aged man (alas) with the spirit of a 25 years old guy. We stay young as long as we feel young. Also i try not to give easy judgement on people ad situations, as an old Indian Chief said " do not judge a man unless you haven't walked a single day in his shoes".
P.S If you are looking only for a bed to crash on, please do not contact me. You can do much better on booking.com or Airbnb.com. Contact me only if you are a real traveller interested in local culture beyond the narrow limit of mass tourism. I like spending time with my host , sharing experiences and learn from each other. Something that travellers and not ordinary tourist do.
P.S.Even though I am open to all opinion and life views and I accept them without reserve, I don't adhere to a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle. I eat everything. So my vegan or vegetarian hosts have to provide for their diet themselves. Don't ask me about vegan venues cause I completely ignore them unfortunately 😥

WARNING! Being, unfortunately again a Gen Xer, I am not naturally prone to any PC or sugarcoating. I always tell it as straightforward as it is. That doesn't mean I am a racist or a chauvinistic male or a fascist, just a guy that tells what he feels like.
To me you can be man, woman,trans cis, any ethnicity, and I believe that has nothing to do with a fact that a person can be a genius or an ass. To me you are a guest and every guest is a gift of God.

Wanting to employ my spare time in showing my city to foreign travellers and finding new international friends. I think that the more people we get to knwo the more we fill the pages of that great book that is life

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted 7 persons sofar in my home and every time i enjoyed my time really much . Sometimes was easier, sometimes more difficult but at the end i always learned something from each one of my guests. Also abroad many times on business trips i met fellow local and international couch surfers sharing my free time with them and having an hell of fun. I regard couchsurfing as a big family and you can always find a "relative" everywhere so feeling less alone when you are a solo traveler

Music..well i like anything from the 80's ( am an old fart i know), and the 90's. Bruce Springsteen Dire Straits , Pink Floyd, Genesis , Prefab Sprout, between my favourites.
