ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Mark. I live in Norcal. Everyday is a decent day for exploring, I can't find a good reason to not grab some coffee and take an urban hike. It doesn't snow or get too cold where I live so that might skew my opinion. I like live entertainment and booze. I like meeting people while getting entertained and boozed. I spend a decent amount of my time with out of towners who need to be shown the finer points of the bay area. Did you know that the Bay Area has the highest waste recycling rate in the world out of any metropolis? Yes, it does. Did you know that the biggest car factory in the western hemisphere is in a suburb of Oakland? Did you know that if California got pissed off and split from the union it would be the worlds 7th biggest economy? Yeah, Brazil we would bump you down to eighth! I going on a Northern European Tour from Dec 15th to Jan 18th. I have seen snow once in my life. This my turn out to be a horrible idea. I'm just hoping I adjust well to the cold. Yup, so if your in the area and want to get boozed up and get entertained lemme know. Also, I like sports and I a computer science post-bacc with an undergrad in music.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I may or may not have a couple spare bedrooms in my house depending on the day of the month. I live in East Oakland, so it's not pretty, and you will get messed with if you walk alone at night or take public transportation, so pretty much only a good place for someone with a car. I'm doing a winter trip to northern europe, I would be interested in meeting some cool people and exploring the area.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was flying over the Pacific through a real bad storm, when the lady next to me goes in to labor. There was no doctor or nurse on board. Next thing you know I'm delivering triplets while flying a 747 and drinking a beer. True story.
