ABOUT ME

I am in my mid-forties( nearly 44) and married to Pierre-alain from Corsica: we have 2 children aged 7 and 4; we love travelling and getting to know new people, new cultures; we exchange our homes a lot with people from all over the world and we've already stayed at people's homes when they were there too( these were actually the best experiences!); a friend of ours is a couchsurfer and she has really had wonderful experiences so we want to share this too!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

we're looking forward to our first experience. we shared an apartment with a family in Berlin last year ( the home exchange became a couchsurfing experience as they couldn't come to our place at the same time as we did); they had 2 children ; our hosts were German and the woman was born in Mexico; just imagine the international meals we shared : speaking Spanish, German, French and English! and they loved their city so they guided us through historical Berlin (just sitting around at home) and of course we cooked for them French delicacies! Last October they came to visit us in France;
and in the summer we've had the same type of experience in Spain!

Interests

We love languages and as we're both English teachers, we particularly love speaking real English with native people!...

Music, Movies, and Books

all sorts except horror movies ( my husband is a movie addict! we love Woody Alen); from jazz to pop music and piano ( Pierre-alain takes piano lessons at the moment); harlan coben, mo hayder and detective novels in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Spending a year in Scotland , visiting all the islands of the West coast on my own ( but never being alone!!!) and working on Loch Ness for 2 months in the summer , showing Nessie to the tourists!
