Overview
About Me
Hey :)) I grew up in a small village by the sea, and I can't stop loving the beach. A lot of other people love the beach too, so I'm not special I guess. When you open your eyes to look at the sparkling of the sun on the water, you know there's so much still to see, so much air, so much time. And quiet.
I finished a bachelor's degree in classical music (orchestra conducting), I'm a pianist and singer. I live in Jerusalem and ride my bike everywhere, up and down the hills. I work as a software developer because I like solving puzzles and building things.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet people! Traveling makes me excited like a little boy. I'm a very open person, and getting to know cultures that are different from what I'm used to, and opening my mind to other ways of living and thinking, is an amazing way to find out more about the world and about myself. Aren't we all basically the same? If we could just find a common language.

Gödel, Escher, Bach is my bible. I also love Sondheim and Shostakovich. Ravel. Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Moonrise Kingdom, its Britten soundtrack, and anything by Pixar. Achinoam Nini.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once created a data connection with a real 56k modem using only my voice. I also wrote the lyrics and music to an original stage musical and played in it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach computer programming, piano, guitar, flute and music theory :) I can also teach Hebrew and how to read and write in Arabic. I would love learning any new language or how to knit.
