Hi stranger :) I am Mateja. A girl from the Slovenian coast who loves spending quality time with friends (or dogs), eat well, listen to good music, laugh and explore the unknown. I am studying Children and Adult education in the capital city Ljubljana. I am friendly, creative, outgoing and I dont trust people easily, but once I do, I will love you forever (I swear I am not creepy). My favourite thing in the whole wide world: waking up early, on my vacation, in another country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I am trying to be a traveler and not a tourist. Instead of buying souvenirs I want to meet locals, try local food and just hear about the place I am visiting from someone who knows it better than any tourist guide. The best thing for me is finding common things and diffrences between other cultures and mine. Also I love languages, so if you speak one of the languages I speak, you are already my friend!
