ABOUT ME

Ecuadorian/American who's fortunate to have lived in Quito/Ecuador, Brooklyn/NY, Rio de Janeiro/Brazil, Hyderabad/India, and Washington D.C., and is now making Atlanta/Georgia my long-term home.

Working in the non-profit world is my way of dedicating my life to celebrating justice, equality, and peace, values I hold dear to my heart. I also find purpose and joy in writing fiction and fantasy, practicing Capoeira, singing, meditation, and anything related to music.

PHILOSOPHY

Mankind has a lot to offer, but also a lot to learn from the universe. I lean on the "learning" part!

I'm an energetic and inquisitive soul, naturally drawn to people and things that exude beauty and warmth, that come in different, mostly unexpected shapes, for example: books about interstellar civilizations, a friend who's led an uncompromising life and has the scars to show it, a path running through a forest in the middle of Fall.

Snorkeling with hammer-head sharks in the Galápagos Islands; summiting Volcán Cotopaxi; swimming in the Napo River; reading Ana Karenina; meeting the Dalai Lama; and meditating 45 days in Lumbini.
