Hey there!
Probably just like most of you I have problems writing something about myself and therefore recommend getting to know me in person. Naturally it would be nice to have similar interests to having a good time surfing my/your couch, but I guess everyone here loves to travel so that's always a nice topic to talk about :-)
RIght now I am inbetween things. Haven't had a proper home for a couple of years, lived, studied and worked abroad (Belgium, Spain, Portugal, almost all countries in South America, Norway and Iceland). And now I am going to start my PhD in a new place in Germany, totally excited about it to having a home for a while...
I love mountains, forests and nature in general, but most of all I am curious about our oceans <3 Therefore fun things for me to do are swimming, scuba diving and being on boats in stormy weather (not too stormy though)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have been couchsurfing for a pretty long time. Hosting and surfing and I always really appreciated it. Now I had a bit of a break but would love to come back to it and see if it's still the same. (I assume not, but who knows). I love the interactions with people, am curious about different peoples lifestyles and hope to get to know someones city better in this way and also discover my own city too, as I have done so in previous couchsurfing experiences. Also it is nice to practice your tolerance regarding habits and views of others ;-) Still, please don't try to tell me that you would love to eat whale meat....

LOVE DOGS! But don't really consider these tiny barking ones as dogs (so much about my tolerance :P )
Like to spend relaxing days/evenings with friends and some board and card games such as Carcassonne, Backgammon or Wizard

音乐、电影和书籍

I am pretty easy with music and usually listen to singer-songwriters, punk/rock and other people who know their instruments, but it depends on my mood and I am glad when people turn on happy music, electro or whatever they are into. For studying classical music and movie music is the best! Just don't try me on Schlager or really cheesy stuff.
Some of my favourites: Tool, System of a Down, Frank Turner, Irie Revoltes, RVIVR

I like movies with a twist or mind-blowing messages. Or just funny scandinavian movies, but also quite a lot of other stuff. Some of my favourites: Adams Apples, Green Butcher, Shawshank Redemption, Brand New Testament, The Prestige and -please don't judge me - Grease, Disney and Harry Potter of course XD
I also find the Black Mirror series extremely catchy and horrifying.

The same goes for books. Utopian /Distopian books have always been fascinating to me, but I also like easy reads with humor or topics which bring me out of this world.
