we're doing the silkroad by bike!

ABOUT ME

We are Mateu & Martina from Barcelona and we will leave our hometown to ride to Beijing following the ancient silkroad route (through the Mediterranean coast, Balcan area, Turkey, Iran, Central Asia and the north of China). After that we hope to take the Transiberian railway till Saint Petersburg and then, riding again to Barcelona through Baltic republics, Poland, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, France and so on.
We leave on september 1st of 2011, reason why we couldn't offer you a place in the recent futue but we will be very happy to host you when we will be back in Barcelona.
We love to travel and to bike everywhere we can but this is our longest adventure ever!

Lately we've been travelling by bike, and that's for now one of the most exciting ways to travel from our point of view. Is really easy to get small and authentic places that are hidden in the dirty roads.
