My name is Mateus, I'm 20 and from Brazil, but now I'm living in Portugal to study civil engineering at FEUP (Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto). I am graduated in a technic course of administration (yes, I'm 20 and already finished a course hahahah) in IFRN (an university in Brasil called Instituto Federal do Rio Grande do Norte).
I love to travel, meet new people, new cultures, new places and taste all kind of different foods. I also love music and I play guitar, ukulele and trying to learn piano.
I really love new adventures and I'm always up to any of those.
I speak Portuguese and English fluently. I already lived in Bournemouth UK for an exchange in 2015 to improve my english and came out with a B2 degree at Eurocentres Bournemouth. I also studied spanish at school and can communicate in that language, but I don't think I'm fluent at this one. I'm also learning french, but just finished level A1. And after french, I plan to learn German.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to travel and meet new people, new countries, cultures.

I'm very eclectic and really love all kind of music, just think that that's a time for each style. One day I can be hearing Elvis Presley, another day Queen, then Beethoven, Coldplay, Brazilian songs.... I also play guitar, ukulele and trying to learn piano.
