Overview
About Me
I’ve been living in Katowice for over 16 years and I work as a financial analyst. My job is quite analytical and structured, so in my free time I try to balance it with travel, outdoor activities and meeting people from different cultures.
I love exploring new places — both cities and mountains. I’m a certified Polish mountain tourist guide and I specialize in the Beskidy region, so if you enjoy hiking, nature or mountain stories, we’ll definitely have a lot to talk about 🙂
I’m always curious about new experiences — especially food and drinks from different cultures. Trying local cuisine is one of my favorite parts of travelling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me, travelling has never been only about places — it has always been about people. The moments I remember the most are conversations in kitchens, long walks through cities, spontaneous plans and discovering local food together.
Couchsurfing gives me a chance to experience destinations in a much more authentic way and to create real connections instead of just ticking places off a list. I love hearing people’s stories, learning how life looks in different parts of the world and sharing my own experiences in return.
Hosting is equally important to me as travelling. I enjoy creating a friendly and relaxed atmosphere at home, helping guests discover Katowice and the Silesia region, and showing them places they probably wouldn’t find in a guidebook.
I see Couchsurfing as a community built on trust, openness and curiosity — and I’m happy to be part of it.

Teach, Learn, Share
I can share hiking tips, mountain stories and practical advice about travelling in Poland — especially the Beskidy region. I’m always happy to recommend local food spots and show guests around Katowice.
I’d love to learn about your culture, travel experiences, favourite dishes and everyday life in your country. I believe the best exchange happens through conversations, cooking together and exploring new places.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a guest, I can share my travel stories and valuable recommendations with my hosts regarding places to visit, tourist attractions, good restaurants, or hidden gems in the area.
Additionally, I always try to bring a souvenir for my host or hostess as a token of my appreciation for their hospitality. It could be something typical from my city or country, something that best represents my culture and traditions.
