Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience actualy happened outside of the proper couchsurfing.com. When I first went to China, in 2005, got to Beijing and had no place to stay. In my first day there, I met a bunch of students that were there in BLCU doing the same thing I was doing: studying mandarin. Told them I still haven´t found a place to stay and they said I could crash on their couch until I did. That lasted one week and got me really close to them. They were 2 malaysian and one american and are, until this day, very good friends of mine.

Intereses

I´m completely addicted to knowledge. I want to know it all and to experience it all. I love music, cinema, but above all, I´m a book freak.

Música, películas y libros

Anything from Woody Allen or Tarantino can make my day better! Fight Club, Matrix, V for Vendetta, Back to the future, Godfather. I love French (Amelie) and Iranian (Separation) cinema, but also Argentinian (Medianeras) and Brazilian (Orfeu Negro).

I study classical piano, so I´m crazy about classical music and jazz. Rachmaninov and Prokofiev and my favourites, Arcadi Volodos and Martha Argerich my personal heroes. Thelonious Monk and Charlie Parker are also constantly playing in the back of my head.

Books... How can I even get started on books. I want to read every author that won a Nobel Prize and for now Garcia Marquez, Pablo Neruda, Hemingway, Fernando Pessoa, Tolstoi, Dostoievesky, Garcia Lorca, Florbela Espanca are on the top of my list. Right now I'm pretty busy studying Ayurveda so Indian philosophy and ayurveda books are all over the place.

Algo increíble que he hecho

I´ve done some stuff and seen some stuff, but there is no way to say that something is more amazing then another. Every single day has a potential to be perfectly amazing.
