My friend and I are 2 french people travelling around South America with our backpacks during one year. We started the aventure in Chile on november 7th.

I am from Lourdes, in the south-west of France. I finished my studies a year ago, I am an engineer in mathematics and computer science. I worked for a year on a fixed-term contract then I decided to leave to discover the world 😁

I started in september in French Polynesia for 6 weeks. I stayed a lot with locals and it was an incredible experience for me. I was so touched by the kindness of the people and all that we could share. I also realized the difference between traveling in "classic" mode to see only landscapes and really going to the heart of the population, which has much more to offer.

When I was younger, I graduated as a children's animator and worked in a summer camp. I took care of the 6-13 year olds and I loved offering all kinds of activities. I also gave private lessons in mathematics for 4 years to a dozen high school students and did tutoring for the French Red Cross, a humanitarian aid association. Its objective is to help people in difficulty in France and abroad.

I do a lot of sliding sports: surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding skiing 🏂⛷️🏄‍♂️
As I live near the mountains I can also hike often. I love discovering new landscapes and discovering new activities 😁

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

We would like to visit a lot of countries like Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Bolivia and the best way to travel and discover culture is to live and share moments with the locals. It's the first reason why we want to use Couchsurfing. This concept makes it possible to meet lovely people, learn new things, skills and get advices about things to see in the area.

We also want to improve our spanish and it would be a pleasure to teach french. We didn't practice this language since school but we learn quickly.
