To love life, travel and learn.
I'm 27 and a Kiwi (New Zealander) and I love travelling! I caught the travel bug when I went on a working holiday to Banff, Canada where I spent 6 amazing months snowboarding and meeting cool people.
After working for the last year and a half for a cool wee nanotech company I have gone travelling. So far on this trip I have been through Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Canada and the USA. I'm now living in Park City, Utah for the next 4 to 6 months where I am a full time ski bum, working in a ski shop and snowboarding on my days off! I'm lucky to have grown up in beautiful NZ, and can't wait to explore the rest of the world!
Sheesh, this seems to change with every new book I read... I guess I just try and be open minded and kind and have fun. Every day above ground is a good day.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have both surfed and hosted, and have had great experiences with everyone so far.
My top experience has been staying in a beautiful and traditional Japanese house in Hakuba, Japan with my great friend Lars.
So many interests, so little time... Recently I have been going to a circus school in the evenings where I am learning the Flying Trapeze and Chinese Pole! I am also a keen snowboarder, avid reader, love movies, rock climbing, music (I play a little guitar, piano and violin), writing (used to write for the University of Canterbury student magazine), but most of all, I love just hanging out with the people I care about!
