Hello guys!
My name is Mathias, I'm 20 years old and I come from Tyrol, but I currently study in Vienna.
I am a very open-minded person and I'm really into learning more about different cultures and lifestyles around the world so I guess that's why I joined Couchsurfing.

Just recently I have gotten very interested in arts and design and especially the people behind the artworks and how they pursue their work and passion.

I'm very open to trying out new things since I will always learn something from it, even if I don't like it. At least then I know that I don't like it :P

I can also be a very lazy person and just watch series or movies all day if I'm in the mood and the weather is shitty.

Because I have lived 19 years (so nearly my whole life) in a little village in the alps I feel very much drawn to nature, especially mountains. I love mountaineering, hiking, skiing, mountain biking ...just about anything you can do out in nature.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I went on my first trip completely on my own and it was an awesome experience. This particular trip to Venice was probably a breaking point in my life, showing me that it can be really exciting to just do different things I'm not used to without caring to much about what could or couldn't happen.
