I am actually on a trip for almost 2 months now. I stopped in Montreal, San Francisco, and i am actually in Mexico, before travelling to Guatemala and Colombia.
I just passed an exam to work in public institutions about environnemental and urban development. This trip is the opportunity for me to discover the whole American continent , its different cultures, food, musics and people. It's been a while i have been thinking about it and it seems to be the perfect timing in my personal life.
I like cities though as much as i like countryside, beaches and the mountains.
I am curious, open-minded and excited to meet new cultures in the next months.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

It is for me the best way to know the way people are living in different countries. It is also the opportunity to meet people easily and exchange about cultural matters and to understand how people live and think in other countries than mine. I would say i am curious and i like to meet new people. It is the first time i have the opportunity to Couchsurf! ( If i didn't hosted couchsurfers by the past, it is because i lived in a studio in Paris with a single room, with one bed: to get a place in Paris is a real issue!)

Intereses

Food food food is certainly my best pleasure in life. I also like music a lot, travelling of course, walking even in my own town Paris, i like to walk a lot.
I like cinema, concerts, series.
I like pretty much SEA environment.
Sports even if i practiced a lot less now (climbing, running - i used to run a lot-, soccer, surf, ski, )

ALL KIND of music: from Bob Marley to Calle 13 listening to cumbia, afrobeat, french songs, techno music, rap music...
The Wire, Treme ! But i also liked these series : Utopia, Luther, Breaking Bad, The shield, True Detective.
Too many movies to quote in juste a few lines...Just a few ones then : 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest', 'City of God','Do the right thing', Cohen Brothers, Tarantino and some movies of the recent years i liked a lot 'Relatos salvajes', 'A touch of Sin', 'Incendies', 'Alabama Monroe', '12 Years a Slave ', 'La vie d'Adèle'.
I particularly like historical novels, like American Darling from Russel Banks but also short novels from Sepulveda, Modiano or books of Kapuscinski, Khadra.
