Hey,

I am Mathieu and with my 2 younger brothers Thomas and Titouan, we plan to went on a bikepacking trip this summer. Unfortunately, Titouan had some knees problem and we had to change our plan. So the "bike brother" became the "not bike brother" and this is how we arrived in London by bus!

The three of us are passionate about adventure, and what unites us is the encounters we can provoke simply by traveling, with a small backpack, a bicycle or by hitchhiking.

We also like to think that if we want to discover a place, and meet people in the world, we have to accept the distance that separates us from them. Travelling by bike, or hitchhiking, is one of the ways in which we can maintain a more honest and sincere vision of the landscapes we cross, and the people we meet, which punctuate the journey to an infinite number of destinations.

We arrive in London the 8 July 2025 and leave the 13 July 2025. Except that we don't plan a lot where we are going. We want to visite London and travel a bit more in the north. We'll let the encounters decided for us.

We would love to meet people and spend time with them, share our experiences and discuss life :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I think that tourism today separates the locals from the travellers. Social encounters are no longer natural and lose their value. Couchsurfing for me is the opportunity to create sincere human exchanges with local people, while travelling.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I went on a trip to the north of Europe 3 years ago with my friend ema. We travelled only by train and hitchhiking. We met so many incredible people who were part of our trip almost more than we were. Last year i went to Argentina with my girlfriend. We hitchhiked and bussed part of the Andes from southern Patagonia to Santiago. We slept with locals or camped on the road. One of the most memorable experiences of my life.
