Hi I'm Mathieu, I am curious man fond of traveling, always looking for new experiences and new places. I like simple moments, just talking, laughing, having fun is all I need.

I have been living and working in Carcassonne (France) for 3 years. I work the day and spend a large part of the rest of my time looking for all the places on Earth I want to go (one day...).

Now, after a 3 week road trip in California Utah and Arizona I am in San Francisco for one month, realizing a long time dream! I always was attracted by this place, and maybe I will come back and live here for longer !

I practice running, hiking, I play music and I try to find the best products of our farms and wineries. I just work during the day, most of my evenings and weekends are free.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's just the best way to enjoy a trip or allow visitors of my city to know the places, facts, people or events they sould not miss!
I planned to travel this summer, and to me that will be the easiest and funniest way to discover the country.
Travelling just for landscapes would be so boring !

Interests

Documentaries and planes are part of my best friends... I'm curious about other regions and cultures, i love science like biology and astronomy.
Since I practiced music for some time (flute and guitar) I listen a lot and I go to concerts and bars quite often.
To me it's very important to eat local food so I try ton know every cheese, every wine, every producer surrounding my town.
I also like or practice a lot of sports like tennis, soccer, running, ski, and kite-surf.
