[Final-year philosophy student living in Paris here. This summer, my boyfriend Rodrigo (literature student) and I are traveling through Spain and Portugal for a few weeks before heading to northern Portugal to see family]

I love long conversations, with a soft spot for quiet mornings, books in the shade, and sharing drinks in the evening. Rodrigo whispers verses when he thinks no one’s listening. I do not, because I think it's weird (??). We are easygoing people :)

I used to host fellow wanderers back in my shared flat days (through a friend's profile, Anouchka, shoutout!). Can’t host now, but I still carry the spirit of a host, curious, welcoming, and always happy to share a slice of life.
If you’re someone who enjoys getting a little lost (in cities or thoughts), I think we’d get along just fine. 🌠

Hola, soy Mathieu. Estudiante de último año de filosofía en París. Este verano, mi novio Rodrigo (estudiante de literatura) y yo estamos viajando por España y Portugal durante unos días antes de ir al norte de Portugal a ver a la familia. Me encantan las conversaciones largas, y tengo debilidad por las mañanas tranquilas, los libros a la sombra y compartir algo de beber al atardecer. Somos de trato fácil. Solía alojar a otros viajeros cuando vivía en un piso compartido (a través del perfil de una amiga, Anouchka). Ahora no puedo alojar, pero sigo con el espíritu de anfitrión : curioso, abierto y siempre con ganas de compartir un pedacito de vida. Si eres de los que disfrutan perderse un poco (en ciudades o en pensamientos), creo que nos llevaríamos muy bien.
Con muchas ganas de conocer a gente cálida y con buen corazón, aunque mi español no está tan bueno hehe.

The community is everything. I met lots of friends here I'm still in touch with on socials, and for some luckily seen again. Experiences I'll never forget, both hosting and traveling abroad.

Craving poetry. Rodrigo has published already (in French), and I'm currently working on a collection that mixes noise, glitch, contemporain writings, with medieval french folk inspirations. Our group just evolved as a publishing house so we're very happy!!
