Overview
About Me
I am currently finishing a master's degree in social innovation management in Montreal, I play sports such as soccer, volleyball, tennis and I play a little bit of guitar! :) I love learning new stuff in general, I am very curious and I am always involved in several social projects. Those projects can be events related to sustainable development or developing small social enterprises.
I love meeting new people and discover new cultures, I've been living in the Netherlands for five months in 2014 during a student exchange and I've been in Mexico and Costa Rica backpacking with friends to see beautiful landscapes and practice my spanish.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on couchsurfing because I think it's a better way to discover new places than to stay in hotels. I love talking with local people about different topics to better understand how that place is different to mine. I also think that there is something special in being hosted by people you don't know but who want you to have a good time at their place. This community mindset is closer to mine than the "making more profits is better" mindset like Airbnb is.
Interests
I always played sports since I am 5 years old, I love playing volleyball, tennis, soccer... for fun with friends! I also love summer because I can travel by bike all the time. I am very interested in social initiatives that reduce inequalities like the meal card produced by an organization fighting against poverty in Montreal called L'Itinéraire. I also love music either going to concerts or listening to it through my earphones.
