Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm a new CS member. All of my life I've been a typical tourist. While it's been fun, I'm ready to learn more about the places that I visit. I want to get to know the people, the food, the sights, and the sounds. Full disclosure.... I'm still going to take a lot of pictures and I will be buying souvenirs for family/friends/coworkers :-)
