Hi, I am currently on exchange in Nijmegen studying Anthropology and development at Radboud University and I would love to get to know the city and hopefully get some new dutch friends.

Something that says a lot about me is how much I love food! Cooking, eating and drinking together is one of my favorite interest. I think it is because I associate it with the danish word HYGGE which is something I value a lot.
Hygge is difficult to translate directly, but it means something like being in a cosy environment, with friends, warm, relaxing atmosphere, drinking hot chocolate, wearing warm clothing, watching a movie or having a great time with wine and music. I can keep on mentioning nice stuff to describe hygge, but the point is that I think having dinner with good people is always a good place to start.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I would like to get to know the dutch culture a lot better! I think it's wonderful being on exchange meeting lots of new people, but sometimes I feel that I am only hanging around with international students all the time. I feel a little weird not really engaging with dutch people while being in the Netherlands, so I am trying to participate in lots of local stuff choir and common dinner De Klinke... don't know how it's spelled, but doing stuff like this really makes me happy. So also if you just have tips for activities I will love to hear from you.

Having a couch in copenhagen, if you ever visit there when I will be back from exchange. Or if you love being in to nature, I have a lovely garden here in Groesbeek where you can camp!
