Hey! I'm Mathilde, I'm 22 and I'm from France. I live in Berlin, where I am volunteering in an elementary school.
Last year I was on Erasmus in Hamburg, and this first big experience abroad showed me how great it is to spend time with people from other countries and with different cultures, and I became addicted to it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I am now mostly solo-travelling, I think couchsurfing is a great way (if not the best!) to meet people to share a bit of my time with, and get to know the culture of the coutry I am visiting.

I also can spend a whole day just reading, and I'd love to meet people who share this love for books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The best travelling adventure I ever had was last year in Granada, when I hiked a hill with someone very special and we spent a very long time watching the sun going down close to the Alhambra. It was amazing and I will never forget how happy I felt in this right moment.

I also had a great first couchsurfing experience in Madrid that I will never forget, and the american girl who hosted me there became a very good friend. This experience really encouraged me keeping travelling that way!
