Overview
About Me
I love travelling (shocking, I know), exploring new places -especially if there is food and drinks involved in the exploration, doing anything and everything with my friends, being a huge GoT nerd, my job and being active.
I've decided to move from Atlanta and teach elsewhere, perhaps somewhere I can practice a language, discover a new culture or grow personally.
On the way, I hope to meet some likeminded people who can either help me discover their homes or join me in my travels.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Being in new cities alone can be scary and sometimes having someone who knows the place can be a reassurance and a great wait to discover local tips, tricks and hot spots. It's also a great way to meet new people, something that a social person like me craves during travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
Some classic Bob Dylan, Beatles and Neil Young never hurt anyone. I'm also embarassingly a One Direction fan (still), and am currently jamming to the La La Land soundtrack.
I like movies that make me cry: Edward Scissorhands, Big Fish and Benjamin Button have been the top trio so far. I also love the movie Seven Psychopaths which I recommend to literally anyone no matter what your movie taste is.
I love Sartre, Carlos Ruiz Zafon, Amelie Nothomb, Marguerite Duras, and Jonas Jonasson as well as the GoT series and anything that can mix lyrical poignant writing with witty humor.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmm.. How about a few above average things? I ate fried grasshopper in Africa, surfed in Costa Rica (and managed to stay up more than once woowoo!), hung out with the 1D boys at a Nashville pub with my best friend, and have managed to travel around for the majority of my life and have only lost my phone//wallet a few times.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Genuine enthusiasm and appreciation for their home and the fact they are willing to share it, hopefully good conversation and good humor, some (pretty simple) cooked meals or groceries, and ideally a new friendship!
