Hi, I'm Mathilde, I grew up in northern France, then moved to the US (Arizona) to finish my studies, then got a job as a translator in Canada (Montreal). After 6 years abroad I moved back to France.
I love hiking, drawing, rock music, beer, nature, I'm also an aerialist

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Love meeting new people and people on Couchsurfing are so inspiring with amazing travel stories. Right now stepping out of my comfort zone and traveling solo (ish) for the first time! So I’m using CS to meet up with locals so they can show me what it’s like to really live in their city, discover hidden gems, and share authentic experiences. Not really interested in just having a place to crash, I want to actually spend time with my hosts 😁

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Getting out of my comfort zone and going to America to do my master’s when I was 20. Made me realize how much I loved living abroad and meeting people from all around the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I try to bring with me little souvenirs from my beautiful hometown. Also, if we go out, a drink on me is the least I can do! I’m also happy to bring beer or wine if you do drink
