Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great way of meeting new people anywhere. And it being free, it enables the people involved to be their true selves and give good tips to guests.
I have had a few couchsurfing experiences already and it has always been a pleasure to spend some time with others (both guests and hosts).

Interests

I really enjoy travelling and discovering places and people.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favourite kinds of music may be rock and folk music, and jazz as well (I play the saxophone).
But I am very open on this kind of things.

I watch all sorts of films. I really like funny ones like Monty Python and the Holy Grail, to deeper movies such as those made by the Ghibli Studio.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went on a 2-week cycle trip with my wee brother a few years ago in Europe and on my own hiked on the West coast of the Highlands of Scotland.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think it really depends on what hosts are expecting but I adapt quite easily and am usually up for anything.
I can teach things I know, help practising French,... and I am always happy to listen at someone's story, learn about a different point of view and share about my experience.

I can offer to listen, to talk, to cook, and am happy to help for anything.
