CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is to travel the world and find my way in life before I decide to settle down and be serious. I don't know how long that will take, I have decided not to put a time limit on it. I want to experience new cultures, people and impressions!

ABOUT ME

I am a 22 year old girl from Trondheim, Norway, and have been backpacking since October 2012. Out of high school I wanted to see the world and meet other people who aren't in a hurry to figure everything right away. I love all that is fun and light and new, traveling with little or no plans when I get to new places. My favorite thing in the whole world is to arrive in a foreign city, dump my bags somewhere and just walk. To get lost and find my way, and then to get lost again. I find it to be the best way to explore. While I travel, I try to write and hope one day to be able to live from my writing.

PHILOSOPHY

No stress. Everything always has a way of working out, and if it doesn't it really wasn't supposed to.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only couch surfed once before, in Hanoi, Vietnam where I was so fortunate as to stay with two super fun British guys. We motorbiked around the city, snuck into fancy hotel swimming pools, partied and ate amazing street food.

Safari in Kenya, hitch hiking in Laos, swimming with wild dolphins in New Zealand, 16 day roadtrip through Australia, working in Vietnam and Cambodia,
Also my year abroad staying with an amazing American family was an experience for life!

I am fluent in English, so that is definitely something I could teach while travelling in Asia! I can speak some French and German, but I'm not fluent. Apart from that I can cook traditional Norwegian food, how 'bout some Lefse?
