Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Well, a friend back in India introduced me to CouchSurfing, and this was perfect for me as I like both travelling alone and meet people from the spot. I couchsurfed for 10 days in Japan, and I did meet amazing people trough that way!
My apartment is now to small to host any one, but I love showing around people in my neighbourhood.

Interests

As I put it above : Arts (especially visual ones), theatre (used to act in a company), food, walking, swimming, trekking. Oh! And sleeping.

Music, Movies, and Books

Cinema : movies of "La Nouvelle Vague" (and it is not a cliche...ok it is), OSS 117, but also recent German movies (" Die fetten Jahren sind forbei", "Sophie Scholl", "Im Herbst-Im Baum-Im Juli"), Wes Anderson's movies, Virgin Suicides...
Music : Radiohead. Then it comes from electronic (Aphex Twin, Amon Tobin, Prefuse 73...), to energetic rock (Stereo Total, Late of the Pier...) and also some yiddish music (I played the alto violin for a while, and remained sensitive to its sound) and drum and bass (Peuple de l'herbe..).

Well, I guess I can speak hours about France and everything in it, but also about my travels (especially my stay in India). I would be amazed to learn anything about the country I will visit -especially, I have to say, cooking recipes!
