My name is Mathilde. I am from France and I am studying languages because I love travelling and I love discovering more about the different cultures in the world.
I am currently studying in Sweden for 6 months, this is why I can't accept any hosts for the moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I want to experience the life of people living in the different countries where I am travelling. I don't think that you can actually get to know well a country if you have only been staying in hostels/travelling with people from the same nationality as you.

Interests

I would say that I have 3 hobbies:
- travelling, which involve learning more about cultures, languages, people...
- sports, especially any kind of sports that you practice in the mountains as rock climbing, hiking, skiing, running...
- music: I have been playing the piano for 13 years, and I also love singing and playing the guitar

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the famous Swedish winter bath: going in a sauna, and then jumping in a hole in a frozen lake!
