Hey I'm Mathis and I love travelling :D
I'm from a small town in Germany originally but I moved to Cologne for studying.
I did some great trips already (Central America, South America, Iceland, UK and many more) but right now I’ll attend my exchange semester in Cortland, NY.

I will try to use that opportunity to explore the USA a little more and to get to know lots of new and interesting people. I already made a lot of friends over this platform which is really what Couchsurfing is about!

I'm totally into every kind of sports (I study Sportsmanagement & Communication) and like to cook some delicious meals.
I also enjoy playing video games or exploring the nature.
I really don't need much to be happy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like the idea of meeting new people, spend time together and get to know more about other cultures. It's a lot easier to meet new people when you share a home together :)

My favourite music is probably Hip Hop and Techno, but I'm totally open to some new music.
I read some Books of Dale Carnegie and a lot of travel books recently but I would like to read a lot more, so if you got some recommendations ;)
I don't watch movies very often but I watch a lot of Netflix series like La Casa del Papel, Weeds, Prison Break etc.
