My name is Mathurin, I'm 26 years old and I'm live in Lyon in France since about twenty years. I studied computer science and software development in last years after leaving school.

I tested a lot of sports in my childhood, but actually, I made climbing and outdoor activities, such as trekking and traveling, since a few years. As I discovered these outdoor activities, I also became aware of the impact of climate change and my own connection to nature. What’s more, as my brother is a biologist, the protection of nature is a subject that is particularly close to my heart.

As for my hobbies, I really enjoy about art, creativity activities such as drawing and more recently, the photography.

I worked during two years as software development consultant at an IT services company, but actually I'm unemployed, so I've decided to take this opportunity to travel and improve my English.

I've travelled a lot in last years and in my childhood with my family, but presently, I'de like to try solo travelling for the first time. To begin this new adventure, I've booked a ferry ticket to Ireland, where I'd like to meet people in particular by testing the Couchsurfing.

Actually, I listen to a bit of everything, except classical music and opera, which I find boring. I do, however, have a preference for electronic and contemporary music.

Otherwise, when it comes to films, it’s hard to single out any one in particular as I watch quite a variety of genres, but the ones that have probably made the biggest impression on me are Ghost in the Shell, Your Name and Her – though that’s by no means an exhaustive list.

My trip to Peru in January 2025 with my family is probably the trip that made the biggest impression on me, particularly the local culture and the scenery.
