Our names are Matias and German. We are from Argentina.
I (Matias) am from San Carlos de Bariloche in the Argentinian side of Patagonia. I am 28 years old and I’ve always loved traveling, having the opportunity to do so around South America, Cuba , Asia, New Zealand, Spain, Morocco and Egypt. And I also love all kind of outdoor activities, mostly hiking and kitesurfing.
German is from Cordoba (center of our country) but we both live together in Bariloche. He is 38 years old.
German has always loved traveling as well and we both arrived around two years ago to Argentina after traveling around New Zealand and Asia for almost two years. And it is now time to go for a new adventure.
At the moment I am working as a tour guide in Bariloche which is what I do since I am 21 years old and I just love it. German works at the airport.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

We are couch-surfers because we think it is amazing how people can help each other in so many ways, and also because I know how nice it is to get to know people while traveling, mostly if they are locals that can show you around. We've been welcomed to stay in many houses around the world which we are very grateful of. And we also really enjoy when friends that we met around the world come to visit us in Bariloche and stay with us.

We really enjoy being outside, practicing sports and visiting new places. We are really into the music we like and always keen to go to concerts and mostly festival.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

When it comes to music we really enjoy all different kinds of styles. Pop, alternative, R&B, mostly indie. Some of our favourites are Tame Impala, Frank Ocean, Glass animals, Beyonce, Rihanna, Lana del Rey, MGMT, Lady Gaga, Solomun, Hot since 82.... We also really enjoy Argentinian music such as Spinetta, Gustavo Cerati, Bandalos Chinos....

My favorite writer is Julio Cortazar.
And movies that we really like are Fight Club, Underground, Pulp fiction, Call my by your name, and many others. A the moment we are more into TV series such us Game of Thrones, Mad men, Mr. Robot, Dark...

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

We've been to the top of many amazing mountains. Mitre peak in Milford sound, New Zealand is one of the most recent ones and it was just awesome.

I used to teach Spanish to foreign people while studying to be a tour guide, so I'm always keen to help anyone who is interested in learning the language.
