PT: Olá! Aqui o Matias e eu sou novo na plataforma. Eu gostaria muito de me introducir neste mundo do Couchsurfing com o objetivo de conhecer pessoas e aprender de elas (e, tomara fazer novos amigos ao redor do mundo ☺️)

Um pouco sobre mim: eu nasci em Buenos Aires, Argentina e sempre tive o sonho de descobrir o mundo. Finalmente, no ano 2017, fui morar na Nova Zelandia com um visto Working Holiday cumplindo meu sonho. Depois disso eu nunca parei de viajar, sempre em movimento. Essa decisão mudou minha vida e o jeito de vivir ela.

Sou um apaixonado pela fotografia e a natureza. Curto muito fazer trilhas, assistir um nascer ou por do sol, acampar, um bom mergulho e todo aquelo que involva estar num ambiente natural.

Sobre a minha viagem que eu to fazendo, estarei viajando por tres meses pelo nordeste do Brasil, começando em Salvador e continuando em direção norte. Não é minha primera vez em Brasil (mas, sim nesta região), sou um apaixonado pela cultura brasileira e é isso o que me faz sempre voltar.

ENG: Hi! This is Matias and I'm new in Couchsurfing. I would love to introduce myself in this world of couchsurfing with the goal of meet people and learn from them (and, of course, make new friends all over the world ☺️)

A little bit about me: I was born in Buenos Aires and I had always on mind to discover the world. Finally, on 2017, I reached my dream and I moved to New Zealand with a Working Holiday Visa. I never stopped since then, that decision changed my life and the way to live it!

About my current trip, I will be travelling for three months around the brazilian north-east, starting in Salvador and going up north. It's not my first time in Brazil, I love the brazilian culture and that makes me return to this country again and again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Altough I know Couchsurfing from a long time ago and I always was curious about it, I never tried it by myself. So, it's time to do it!

I find the platform very interesting, and I think it's a great way to meet people and learn about the destination you are visiting from an other way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Lived one year and three months in New Zealand with a Working Holiday Visa
- Lived three years in Australia with a Working Holiday Visa
- Visit many places and made a lot of friends since I started travelling
- Swam with whale sharks in Ningaloo Reef, Australia
- Flied over the Grand Barrier Reef in Australia
- Saw an aurora australis in Patagonia
- Travelled by autostop along the Carretera Austral in Chilean Patagonia
