Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I heard about the "term" for Couchsurfing but i didn't even know about this website until now. A friend told me about his amazing experience using this platform and i hope it will also be great because this is going to be my first trip traveling alone overseas.
So I've basically been a fan of the couchsurfing spirit , and this site give me the opportunity to extend that hospitality to more people and know different persons, culture, ways to see the life and make new friends.
