Overview
About Me
Traveler, craftsman, and passionate about ancient cultures, especially Norse traditions. I’m a professional handpoke tattoo artist and creator of projects inspired by Viking life, craftsmanship, and ancestral ways. I’m drawn to deep conversations, history, good food, music with character, and authentic experiences beyond typical tourism. Respectful, calm, and naturally curious, I enjoy sharing knowledge, stories, and learning from locals. If there’s a fire, mead, strong coffee, or a creative project involved, I’ll probably feel right at home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I’m not interested in traveling as a tourist—I’m interested in traveling as a human being. For me, a place is not just its architecture or landscapes, but the people who live there, their stories, their daily rituals, and their way of seeing the world.
Couchsurfing feels like a modern version of an ancient tradition: opening your door to a traveler, sharing food, conversation, and a bit of life. That exchange based on trust and curiosity is something I deeply value.
I want to experience cities through local eyes, learn from different perspectives, and contribute in return whether that’s through meaningful conversation, cooking a meal, sharing skills, or simply bringing good energy into a home.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I’m drawn to music with atmosphere and soul. Nordic folk, dark ambient, traditional sounds, and anything that feels ancient, powerful, or introspective. I also enjoy rock and metal with depth, as well as calm instrumental music for quiet moments. Like: Gealdyr, Cigarretes After Sex, The Police.
Book: I love myth, epic fantasy, and historical themes, stories that explore honor, fate, human nature, and older ways of seeing the world. Anything that feels timeless and immersive. Big Fan of Tolkien!
Movie: Films with strong worlds and atmosphere, historical epics, dark fantasy, psychological stories, or cinema that lingers in your mind long after it ends. I appreciate visuals, symbolism, and meaningful storytelling over pure spectacle.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I’ve done (and am still doing) is working toward building a Viking-style ship. It’s a long-term project that goes far beyond construction, it’s about reviving traditional knowledge, craftsmanship, and a way of life connected to the sea, community, and exploration.
From research and design to gathering skills, materials, and people, the journey itself has already been transformative. The goal is not just to build a boat, but to one day sail it and live the experience fully, to turn history into something tangible and alive.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I can share what I know about handpoke tattooing, Norse symbolism and history, traditional craftsmanship, and the creative process behind long-term projects like building a Viking-style ship. I can also share mindset, discipline, and how to turn big ideas into real, tangible things.
Learn:
I want to learn how locals truly live, their routines, traditions, recipes, perspectives, and stories. I’m always curious about new skills, cultural practices, languages, and different ways of seeing the world.
Share:
Time, conversation, meals, creativity, music, and honest human connection. I believe the best exchanges are simple and meaningful, where both people leave inspired in some way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversation, respect for your home, and a calm, positive presence. I’m happy to share stories from my travels, my work as a tattoo artist, and my projects inspired by Norse culture and traditional craftsmanship.
If you enjoy cooking together, I can help prepare a meal, make strong coffee, or bring something from my culture to share. I can also offer help with small tasks around the house, creative projects, or simply be good company without invading your space.
I believe the best exchange is simple and human: conversation, laughter, ideas, and a memorable shared moment.
