About Me

ABOUT ME

Well my mother always said when I was little that: "You'll manage to get friends anywhere you go, your so cosmopolitan." I never believed it myself, going to unfamiliar places made me scared s***less so to say.

But I'd like to believe that most of my friends would agree with my mother, I still don't know how, but I somehow manage to get along fine with most of this planets species.

I could see my friends making statements like:
"At first Matias may seem little scary, but after a while you'll notice that he ain't that scary at all."
"When you meet the first time, he by quite shy and silent, but by the time you have spent a weekend with him you wouldn't say the same."

Interests

Almost anything and everything!

Nature, walking around, reading, sleeping, eating, simple things like that :)

Then there's things like... history, politics, activism (occupy/15M/TZM/etc.) you name it!

Honest, nice and open people that you just kinda, can relate, almost the second you meet make me quite happy and joyful, can't really describe any better, you know what I mean.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I wanted to go to a Music festival in the middle of forest, 600 km away from where I lived. I asked all my friends and even people I hardly knew, just so that I wouldn't have to leave there just by myself.
Then I suddenly realized what date it was and the festival was starting next day and nobody is coming with me, so I just said to myself: "For once in your life do something that you really want to do, go there, just go and ask questions later."

I had a car, I had a tent, I had my ticket.

So I fired google up, searched some people that we're going there from Turku and searching for carpool ride and called them and I got my car and next day 4 random strangers came to town square and off we went. For the first time in my life I understood what it meant to be able to trust that all people are basically good, they just don't know it yet, just amazing trip through finland, warm weather and sun shined...

Wouldn't be here if I had not taken that chance!
